Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This is challenge 2 of the year, preceded by the Prudential Ride London 100 mile cycle race on August 2nd (see connected page).  Have I bitten off more than I can chew you ask? Very possibly... I am completing 3 legs of this ocean race:

Leg 1 - St Katherine's Dock, London to Rio de Janeiro

Leg 2 - Rio de Janeiro to Cape Town

Leg 3 - Cape Town to Albany (Western Austarlia)

A bit about the nitty gritty of the race...

In Aid of Unicef UK

The Clipper Round the World Yacht Race is one of the biggest challenges of the natural world and an endurance test like no other. With no previous sailing experience necessary, it’s a record breaking 40,000 nautical mile race around the world on a 70-foot ocean racing yacht.

As a leading international event it is entirely fitting to partner with Unicef, the world’s leading organisation for children. We look forward to raising much needed funds to help keep more of the world's most vulnerable children safe from danger.
