DONE IT!!!!!!!!! => see my blog for the story

I decided to undertake this somewhat gruelling  312++ (!) km CYCLE SOMME TO FLANDERS sponsored ride established by MAG (Mines Advisory Group) to raise money to help stem the damage mines do to civilians and of course army personnel. MAG is a neutral and impartial humanitarian organization clearing the remnants of conflicts for the benefit of communities worldwide.  

NOW IT IS DONE!

It was a worthy cause and I got myself - currently aged 65 - jolly fit for the ride cycling around 200km a week (since early May) ....including hills and flats (I've always loved flats and have come to like hills now I am so fit!)

I raised the target amount of £1600 thanks to your generosity  — Indeed SPONSORSHIP nicely tipped over the £2500 mark. THANK YOU! THANK YOU so much
