Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As most of you know, in 1998 I had a kidney transplant from my fabulous (wine & Pimms loving) Dad. Before this I was on dialysis for 2 years at Addenbrooks hospital. Throughout this time & for the subsquent 13 (& many more to come) years, The Addenbrookes Kidney & Transplant Team together with the AKPA have been a huge support to Mum, Dad & I.

I've always said I'd like to raise some money to show my gratitude for the wonderful work they do...a marathon has always been an idea but Susie Mac's legs couldn't take 26 miles without a stop for a cheeky drink to feed Dad's kidney.

Thus when us Astellas Transplanters agreed to climb Snowdon in September, I thought it would be an ideal way to raise some money for such a worthwhile cause as the AKPA.

It's my first mountain climb (I'm normally skiing down them!) & it will be tough so any amount you can spare will be gratefully appreciated.

Thank you so much in advance....I have first hand experience of what the AKPA do & know for a fact they truely will be so grateful of any amount I raise.
