Story

Hi All

Thankyou for taking a peek at my JustGiving page.

As most of you who know me well, are aware, in the past my idea of excersise has involved walking to the bar and vegging on the sofa. However over the past year this has all changed. I believe this is due to the depressing realisation of how abusive I have been to my body for the majority (if not all) of my adult life, and I now want to take a bit care of it a little.

One morning whilst walking the Special Kids, I thought to myself how I almost do a mini-triathlon every day, with the few miles of dog walking followed by the 5 mile cycle to work. So my first sprint triathlon has been entered (QE2 Sprint Triathlon 5th June). However I am acutely aware that dog walking is not an event involved in the sprint tri, therefore I have also entered the Sheffield Half Marathon in an attempt to get running. As I am not a particular fan of running, I thought I would request sponsorship from you generous people to give me some extra motivation!

FABLE is the only charity I have ever seen which is dedicated to helping people suffering from epilepsy, and the thought that I can gain sufficient sponsorship to help people suffering from this illness, will ensure I will not fail....even if my body, including my dodgy big left toenail (I am on my second one at present), tries to prevent me!

Please give a little bit to a charity that does so much good. However be aware that the sponsorship you pledge will only be accepted by myself, following the completion of BOTH the Sheffield Half and the QE2 sprint triathlon.

Thanks for your time

Sue

x<!--[if gte mso 10]> <mce:style><! /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0cm 5.4pt 0cm 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0cm; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:12.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-ascii-font-family:Cambria; mso-ascii-theme-font:minor-latin; mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-theme-font:minor-fareast; mso-hansi-font-family:Cambria; mso-hansi-theme-font:minor-latin; mso-ansi-language:EN-US;} > <!
