Susan's HSBC Arctic Challenge

HSBC Arctic Challenge 2018 · 3 August 2018 to 10 August 2018 ·
Dear Friends,
I am participating in the HSBC Arctic Challenge this year by trekking 100km in 5 days within the Arctic circle to raise fund for WaterAid. I will be surviving on basic meals, camping in cold conditions and cut off from all things we take for granted such as a toilet or a hot shower.
Clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene should be a normal part of everyone’s daily life.
Without all three, people can’t live dignified, healthy lives.
With all three, they can unlock their potential, break free from poverty and change their lives for good.
With clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene, children are born healthier. They get the chance to go to school and grow up to become adults. Women and men get to earn a living. Whole communities start to thrive.
It sounds normal and it should be.
I hope you will join me to support WaterAid by donating here on this page.
