DrugFam is one of those smaller charities that does superb work to support families, carers and friends affected by drug misuse. There are many preconceptions around those people who take drugs, but the problem of drug misuse can affect any person from any social backround. The people who deal drugs don't make any distinction and young people can find themselves spiralling out of control before they realise it. The impact of this is devastating to their loved ones who need support through difficult times whilst they fight to help the escape and in some cases just to keep their loved one alive. The charity not only do this, but they also work with agencies speaking to many people raising aareness and explaining the realities of drug misuse to those who work in the field and those who may be making their own life choices .
