I am trekking Kilmanjaro at my own expense, on behalf of Velindre Cancer Centre, with a party containing three other members of my family, in memory of my father who died of cancer in July 2009, and  for other friends who have been affected by cancer in recent years.

Usually the preserve of the young, the upper limit for this trek is 60 years old, and at 56 this will be a once in a lifetime opportunity for me to undertake this challenging climb to raise as much sponsorship as possible for this very worthy cause. Everything you give will go to the charity so please dig deep and donate now.
