Story
Our friend and colleague Tracy Earl was diagnosed with cancer in June 2016 whereby Tracy began treatment at the Royal Marsden almost immediately. After a very invasive procedure and many rounds of chemotherapy Tracy made a full recovery and returned to work in March 2016 . Tracy was so pleased to be getting her life back on track and enjoyed being back at work with her friends and colleagues and her customers many have become friends as Tracy has worked for the Bank for 35 years .
Unfortunately, Tracy’s recovery was short lived as in June last year she was told that the cancer had returned and she would need a further 6 rounds of chemotherapy. Sadly , just weeks into this treatment Tracy was given the devastating news her condition was now terminal and the chemotherapy would be stopped . Tracy was told she now had months possibly weeks to live . Very soon after she was admitted to St Raphaels hospice in Cheam .
Tracy throughout her treatment was so very brave but sadly passed away on Friday 26th January 2018 surrounded by her amazing family at the hospice . Tracy was such a kind generous person and we are all so devastated , broken hearted , life is so cruel to take someone so young . We have decided to come together to walk the Marsden March in memory of Tracy and to raise funds for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. Please help us to make Tracy proud .
