Story

Hello. This summer I helped organise the 2nd CHIVA support camp for HIV+ teenagers from across the UK and Ireland. The camp ran for 5 days in Derbyshire and gave the young people the opportunity to meet other positive teenagers, learn about living well with HIV, ask questions, take part in outdoor and creative activites and be in a supportive and safe environment where HIV could be freely and openly talked about and demystified.

Next summer we hope to do the same and to raise money for the camp CHIVA staff and volunteers are doing a collective bike-ride

( in a London gym!) on December 3rd and 4th to closely coincide with World Aids Day.

I know money is tight for lots of us, so I'm not going to grovel or guilt trip you but if you feel like you can spare a few quid for a worthy cause, please do. In the words of the great gun wielding corporate monster "every little helps"

Thanks,

Susanne
