HRI is a UK-based charity dedicated to promoting high quality research in homeopathy at an international level.

Story

So many of you helped me run - thank you, one and all!  This was the first half marathon I've dared take on.  Thirteen miles - hard going, but I kept my spirits up.  Knowing that so many wonderful sponsors had between them already raised £100 for every mile I was running this morning for the Homeopathy Research Institute - that really helped when the going got tough.  Your donations, kind words and encouragement really did help me Do My Best.  I beat my target time by half a minute per mile - 2h:8m:14s!

All the money raised so far, and all donations you may still make, will go directly to help scientific understanding in one of the most fascinating yet under-researched fields of medicine.

Homeopathy Research is a cause dear to my heart - so many amazing personal experiences in seeing homeopathic treatment change people's health. Yet the underlying science is not so far explained in terms of current rigorous research standards.  Homeopathy is so effective, safe and cost-efficient compared to other medicine, it's worth asking lots more questions about it! With costs for even modest science research projects skyrocketing recently, the HRI has its work cut out: the only charity of its kind in the UK, it supports a number of really worthwhile projects (http://www.homeoinst.org/research-projects).

Thank you so much to everyone who has already helped me help the HRI help homeopathic researchers work on key projects.  And if you're still thinking about it: every little helps, every little may make a big difference, and I thank you in advance!
