Funds raised by Women for Women will support women scientists and clinicians - empowering more women to lead in this field. They will specialise in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of a range of devastating conditions, which cause cancer, miscarriage, infertility and genetic diseases such as cystic fibrosis or muscular dystrophy. Their fundamental aim is to improve women's ongoing good health throughout their lives and to ensure that more women have a normal pregnancy with a healthy baby.

Thank you very much for visiting Susie and Theresa’s fundraising page - Natracare Sisters

We have pledged to offer our time, efforts and energies to raise funds to support the work of the Institute of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Trust through Women for Women (http://www.women-for-women.org/) which aims to improve the health of women and babies worldwide.

Chairman of the IOG and Women for Women Trust, Lord Professor Robert Winston says,

“Funds raised will help train women scientists and clinicians of the future, pushing the boundaries of medical knowledge to improve women’s health and the incidence of healthy pregnancy.”

My sister Theresa and I HAVE cycled through desert terrain in Jordan over 4 days covering 300 kilometres (198 miles). On both sides of the Atlantic, the training started in earnest (despite a torn cartilage in Susie’s left knee) but what was in store for us was not just the challenge of the terraine, but the HEAT!

Funds raised by Cycle Jordan will support specialised research to improve the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of a range of devastating conditions which cause genetic diseases, miscarriage, cancer, brain damage and infertility.

This was a tough challenge for an excellent cause and we hope that you will continue to support us because our efforts, and ultimately your kind generosity, will make a big difference to the future health of women and babies around the world.
