I have worked for the YMCA for many years and am passionate about the work that it does, however I have never been able to fully understand what many of our clients experience by sleeping rough, and hope that the Sleep Easy event will give me some insights into the challenges that many of our young people face and that it will inspire me once again as I look to play my part in raising the £1M shortfall we need to build 40 self contained move-on units at Bethel Street providing a brighter future for young people and enabling them to move on to independent living.
