On Sunday 11th September 2011, Susy Dunn tragically passed away from a rare type of cancer called Cholangiocarcinoma (Bile Duct Cancer) - only two short months after being diagnosed with the disease.
Susy was an absolutely wonderful woman who was adored by her family and friends. She was also incredibly brave and courageous - fighting to the very end.
Cholangiocarcinoma is rare with around 1000 new cases each year in the UK. There are no obvious symptoms and it's an aggressive disease that's ultimately very hard to treat.
We are supporting a research project into Cholangiocarcinoma (Fund 5101) at London's Imperial College, which is making fantastic progress into diagnosis and treatment.
Susy was completely overwhelmed by all the love and support she received during her battle with cancer. We now need your support and contributions on this page to help beat this cruel disease.
