Changing Faces is about enabling everyone to face disfigurement with confidence. It provides emotional and practical support to children and adults who have a disfigurement. The charity also works with schools, the health service, employers and the media to foster acceptance and equal opportunities and promote informed portrayals of people who have disfigurements.

My story

Slow and Steady wins the race!

Anyone who knows me well will be surprised when they hear I'm attempting to run a half marathon! I've never been known as a fitness enthusiast and I am certainly not intending to beat any speed records, I'll leave that to Paula Radcliffe! My motto is slow and steady and I'm hoping that will get me across the finish line. I can guarantee this is the first and last sponsor plea you will get from me. All sponsorship will be going to Changing Faces http://www.changingfaces.org.uk/Home a really worthwhile charity which doesn't receive as much exposure as others.
