Story
Hello everyone!
I have been offered a place with Quest Overseas in the summer of 2010 in Malawi for 5 weeks, working in an orphanage helping to build a classroom, providing feeding stations and teaching/playing with the children. To be more specific, I will be organising drama games, basic music/singing and providing as much support as I can. I will be doing this between my 2nd and 3rd year of university.
The 'Joshua Orphan Care Trust' is based just outside Blantyre, in the Pen Sulo District. It was recognised by Quest that this area was in desperate need of help as it did not fall into the category of 'rural' or 'town area'. Joshua was set up originally to provide feeding stations and maize for local HIV orphans and currently supports hundreds of orphans and vulnerable children in the surrounding villages. It has now expanded to buillding classrooms and community centres.
Your money would go towards an orphan's education and renovating the orphanage's buildings.
The aim is to improve the children's lives and give as much love as possible- you can help me do just that!
Any donation, however small will be greatly appreciated! The money donated here goes straight to the charity. The aim is £700.00
Thankyou very much!
Suzannah
