Story

As most of you are aware we sadly lost our wonderful Daughter and Sister Suzanne way before her time to cancer in December of last year. She was massively brave and fought hammer and nail throughout the course of her illness without showing even a hint of self-pity or defeat.

Prior to Suzanne becoming ill she was a vibrant young woman with a lust for life and energy to spare. She was determined to continue life as normal and not to let cancer get in her way. She was married, had a wonderful baby boy named Ryan (2 years old now) and would be working between sessions of Chemo. Towards the end however Suzanne did need some extra care and this is where the wonderful nurses of the Primrose Hospice stepped in with practical help and emotional support. They where invaluable to us at this devastating time but we are not the only family that need their care and attention.

The Primrose Hospice needs to raise over £1.4 million each year to continue to offer this amazing free service to the community. This is why we have decided to take on what we think is a huge challenge to raise as much of these vital funds as possible. On Saturday 8th October we will be dragging our wet, muddy selves through, under and over the tunnels, cargo nets, sheep dips and more of the 10k (marine) Commando Challenge.

We thank you for helping us with your support and sponsorship and we know that Suzanne would have been with us every step of the way as she loved nothing more than a challenge although she faced the greatest one of all.

Many thanks for visiting our just giving site.

Wish us luck, were going to need it!!!
