My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Over the next couple of months I will be training very hard so that I can participate in next years Virgin London Marathon and also to have the opportunity to raise money for MEDICS who provide emergency medical intervention when a 999 call is made to the Essex Ambulance service.
The doctors give their time and services free but it costs over £22,000 to equip a MEDICS doctor with the life saving medical supplies and equipment that they carry, which is why your dontation today could make all the difference in saving lives.
I look forward to the challenge of running this race along with my good friends Lisa and Sharon as we have spent most Sunday's for the last five years running together with the aim in mind that one day our Sunday run would include running in the London Marathon and 2012 is going to be our year!! We aim to raise between us £2000 for our chosen charity and would greatly appreciate any sponsorship that you feel you could offer and please remember that every little heps towards our target :-) Thanks Suzanne, Lisa & Sharon

MEDICS is an accident and emergency doctor service - The Mid Essex Doctors Immediate Care Scheme -which operates under the nationwide "BASICS" organisation. MEDICS Doctors are called out by ambulance control centres to provide emergency medical intervention at road traffic accidents, airport/ rail emergencies, agricultural/industrial accidents, fires, leisure injuries and medical emergencies.
