Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

After been made to feel incredibly guilty last year for watching rather than running the Great North Run I have decided to drag myself away from the television and into a pair of running trainers in order to take part in 2009's Great North Run on 20th September.

I will be running for Finchale Training College, a Durham based charity which provides vocational training and rehabilitation to disabled adults to help them develop and achieve the skills, qualifications and confidence to find and enjoy permanent employment.

There are less than 72 hours until the Great North Run finally starts and I'm starting to feel very nervous! I'm going on my last training run tonight and then all I can do is wait and eat lots of carbohydrates.

Thanks to everyone who has donated - I've very nearly reached my target. If you can spare a few pennies or pounds it would be most appreciated.

Thank you
