Thank you for visiting my justgiving page!
This year I would love to go to Kenya with the Kenyan orphan project imperial this summer 2013 for two weeks to help vulnerable children and to see the good that this charity does.
KOP was funded in 2001 by three medical students. The charity supports local sustainable projects in Kisumu (Kenya), led by local partners, which aid vulnerable children such as orphans and street children.
KOP runs a Student Program in which students from across 14 UK Universities (Barts, Bristol, Cambridge, Cardiff, Dundee, Glasgow, Imperial, Kings, Leeds, Leicester, Manchester, Nottingham, Warwick) visit the partners in Kisumu for two weeks and help in two of the projects. This can be in a school, feeding centre or street children’s centre.
As a way to raise money I am making assorted cards for people for any occasion and raising money through this way. I will put up pictures regularly in case any of you might be interested in purchasing some.
I would like to say it will be a fantastic experience and I cannot express with words how excited I am to be involved in this project.
