Swire Oilfield Services has donated money to “Cash for Kids”. We nominated Cash for Kids this year because we specifically wanted to help disadvantaged children in the local communities in which we operate; grants are made to groups, organisations and projects throughout the North-east of Scotland. As well as the initial £11,220 donation by Swire, Staff has been supported to help raise more money throughout the year by various fundraising events in the hope of raising this total to over £20,000 by the year end.

      I have organized a Golf Marathon Day for 4 Swire Employees Scott Douglas (Sales & Key Account Management),Graham Hay (Chemical Handling Operations), Derek Beattie (Welder) & myself Norman Gray (UK Fleet Refurbishment Supervisor) We aim to start at Approx 4.00 am in the morning and Finish at approx 9.30 pm at night. This involves 72 holes & 18 hours inclusive of golf and travelling between the following 4 different courses on Friday 31^st July 2009.

 

(1) Newburgh-on-Ythan Golf Course (4.00 am) – Donated by Newburgh Golf Club

(2) Meldrum House Golf Club (8.30 am) – Donated by Premier Oilfield Rentals

(3) Kemnay Golf Club (1.00pm) - Donated by Securastore

(4) Craibstone Golf Club (6.00pm) –Donated by Allied Training Services

 

These courses have kindly been donated by the companies above so no golf fees will be involved in the fundraising.
