This justgiving page is dedicated to raising money for the Genesis Appeal http://www.genesisuk.org. The Genesis Appeal is the UK's only breast cancer charity entirely dedicated to the prevention of the disease.

The charity has enabled Europe's first purpose built breast cancer prevention centre to be built in my home town of Manchester, and continues to support its services by sponsoring people and science. My mum is now a volunteer for the centre having been treated for breast cancer herself 10 years ago.

1 in 10 women will develop breast cancer during their lifetime, a third of these women will never be cured. Please donate as much as you can to this fantastic charity to help beat the disease, and give me some serious motivation to run 13 miles!!!!
