Batten disease is a group of rare, progressive neurodegenerative, genetic metabolic diseases that occur in children & adults worldwide. The BDFA's Vision is to be the central point of excellence in the UK for supporting affected families funding research into a potential cure.

I did it!

I've raised £305 so far.

Thank you all so much for your donations, if you didn't get the chance to donate before there is still time, this page will stay open for some time.

After recently discovering that someone close to me is affected by the Juvenile form of Battens Disease, I decided to help raise money for this worthy cause.

 

There is no cure to date and this little person may not grow up to make their parents proud when they pass their driving test, fall in love, get married and bless them with wonderful grandchildren.
