Synergy is Denbighshire County Council's Development and Networking Group for employees across the organisation. Synergy provides a forum for those individuals seeking opportunities to develop both professionally and personally and offers a wide range of services run by the Synergy Volunteers, one of which includes fundraising for various local charities. 

 

We've joined together to raise money for the YMCA charity based in Rhyl, North Wales and have agreed on a 9.5 mile walk around the Llyn Brenig,  You'll see our team fundraising target on the right. Your donation can really support a very important cause - no amount is too small!

 

We have chose to fundraise for the YMCA as they help and support homeless young people aged 16-24 to get back on there feet and into a safe environment whilst looking for employment in the local area. The reason we chose the charity is because they support people who are young in age which is very similar to our purpose of supporting employees young in age and career. This seemed like the perfect charity to donate to for our first fundraising event.
