One of my biggest desires is to be involved in a project through which I could directly help people who straggle in poverty to get the necessities we are taking for granted. There is nothing more touching than making a difference in someone's life.
...imagine that you or your dear children would have the minimum chance to survive diseases such as pneumonia, measles, polio or malaria. In our part of the world it costs only few pennies to treat or prevent such diseases. However, there is another part of the world where 25,000 children die each day mainly from preventable causes like these. Problem is - they can't reach us, we have to reach them!
Most of us don't have the opportunity to go out there ourselves, but everyone can help without being there..therefore I have decided to fight the world's poverty in a different way and I would like to ask you for help.
I am cycling from London to Paris in 21st - 24th July 2010 and my aim is to raise at least £1200 for children in need. People can change poverty and that involves you as well. Your donation WILL make a big difference and here is a chance for you to make this difference.
