Sarah and Sue (landladies of The Dog) along with 4 of our female customers are taking part in the London 10K, in aid of St Giles Hospice.

St Giles Hospice is based in the village of Whittington,  where we operate our family business.On a daily basis we witness their wonderful work - whether it be through the staff, the family and friends of the terminally ill, their many volunteers or the patients themselves - who may pop in for what might be their last pint.

                                    We are NOT athletes,

                                        We are barely fit

                    ( Too much time spent in The Dog !!!! )

             BUT we must complete the 10k dash  in 2 hours or less
