Story
Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.
Starting on the 18th July 2009 The Race Monkeys (thats Philip De Felice and Andy Chisholm ) will head off across the world in pursuite of our final destination, Ulan Battar. Since we are far too lazy to walk the 8000miles or so, we have decided to drive a 1litre Suzuki Swift over the mountains, through the rivers and across the deserts that stand in our way. We anticipate breakdowns, accidents, scorching heat, freezing nights, sunburn, dust galore, arguments, breakdowns, broken cars broken bodies, bad roads, no roads and worse. So you might say its going to be an endurance event. Infact we dont know how long we will have to endure, although 4 to 5 weeks is a good guestimate.
Leading up to the rally we will be doing various activities events and sponsorships to raise money for Mercey Corps (see left) including the on-going Buffon Challenge. This fund raising actually started about october 2008 and finishes when we return from the rally in late August or September 2009. We have pledged to not have a hair cut until returning, This may not sound hard but when you are used to short back and sides every 3 weeks, I promise is Very difficult.

Please give generously and help us smash our target as the work Mercy Corps do in Mongolia and many other countries makes a huge difference to people who are not in the situation to help themselves.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Mercy Corps gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
