<div><em>I am running the Edinburgh Marathon on the 27th of May for Edinburgh Headway Group. Headway provide long term rehabilitation and respite&nbsp;services for people&nbsp;with brain injuries - a cause that is particularly close to my heart following the injuries sustained by one of my best friends in a car accident in November 2010. </em></div> <div><em></em>&nbsp;</div> <div><em>I met Derek whilst living in New York. He was a photographer working for a UK national newspaper and we very quickly bonded over a love of the pub, inappropriate behaviour, and&nbsp;a strong&nbsp;commitment to enjoying every minute of our time in the US.
