... Well we completed the challenge in around 23 hours- we even had time to stop for ice-cream before we officially reached flat land so we're all pretty happy with how it went.

The view up on the peaks were incredible especially sunrise near the top of scafell pike which I've put a picture of up on this page.

Thank you so much to everyone who sponsored us and remember you can still give us money!!!!

Cheers,

Rich, Rob, Ian and Alex

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello!

Time for the latest challenge as the summer has started kicking in and its fairly nice outside. Alex, Rob, Ian and myself have set ourselves the task of completing the National Three Peaks Challenge. For those that have not heard of it, this involves climbing the three highest peaks, respectively, in England, Wales and Scotland. The Peaks are: Snowdon, in Wales (1085m) Scafell Pike, in England (978m) Ben Nevis, in Scotland (1344m). We aim to do this within a 24 hour time limit depending on traffic as it also includes the distance between the mountains as well as climbing up and down. This means at least one of the mountains will be climbed in complete darkness- although I'm sure we will take torches.

We will be attempting this between the 22nd/23rd of July and we will be raising money for The Berkshire County Blind Society which is an independent charity that aims to enable and support visually impaired people in Berkshire to live independently and to enhance their quality of life. This is a very good cause and one close to our hearts as Ian himself has an optic nerve condition called Dominant Optic Atrophy which is an inherited disease that causes reduced visual acuity and blindness/partial blindness. This will obviously make this challenge greater for him.

Please sponsor us if you can.

Thank you!

Rich.
