LLR - Bananaman Chase 10K 2011 · 2 October 2011 ·

We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

As most of you fine people visiting this page know my story I have copied the info I put on the offical page for the 10km run.(http://leukaemialymphomaresearch.org.uk/node/1564)

If you don't know it, it is a close second to my famous carrier bag story.

Tim was diagnosed with lymphoma in 2008 and has been in remission since 2009. He saw the posters for the Bananaman Chase whilst getting treated and it inspired him to start to raise money when he got better. Tim says 'what better way for a man with a slight limp to raise money for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research than dressing up as a banana and getting chased!'
