On the 31st August Team Jacum's Big Night out at Witchford Village Hall will be celebrating the life of Jacob Nicholas Wright who died at 16 months in April 2012 of mitochondrial disease. in his short life he was helped by 4 main charities. Brainwave was one of them.
The Brainwave Programme rests on the theory of neuroplasticity and qualified and experienced staff are drawn from the mainstream fields of physiotherapy, psychology and education. All Brainwave therapists receive additional training in cognitive and communication techniques.
The therapist gave us such amazing support and it was amazing to be amongst proffetionals that focused on what Jacob could do rather than what he couldn't do. They helped him remember he had two hands. May seem small but meant the world to us,
Half of the money raised on the night will go to Brainwaive. However if you would like to donate and support this charity in memory of Jacob then please donate here
