Story

I appreciate that I'm asking for your hard earned pounds once again and I know I'm becoming 'that guy' who continues to pester for sponsorship for another bloody marathon so I'll keep this brief and to the point.

The money raised by myself and my good pals across previous charity endeavours, a sum that now exceeds £20,000, has always gone to a national charity - MSRC - for all your support here, I'm of course mssively grateful. This year, however, I've decided to tackle the Brighton marathon and 190km 4 peak stage of the Tour De France in the Pyranees but instead raise the cash directly for a local facility in Canterbury - The Kent Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre.

Lots of you know that my mum has a degenerative neurological condition and I've been to this centre with her many, many times in the past and I have witnessed the superb, selfless work carried out by the staff and shared some good laughs with the locals. All money raised from this double challenge wil go directly to the maintenance and up keep of this unique and precious faciity that I've obviously got very close personal ties with.

So, in keeping it brief, please give anything you can spare and I promise to limit the persistent charity donation badgering to a minimum..

Thanks .

Popey.
