Building Resilience in Communities (BRIC) is a charity that provides services that increase the emotional health and wellbeing of children and adults. Providing services that are responsive to the needs of people and communities within Lincolnshire, reaching those that are isolated and vulnerable.

Story

As Scheme Manager for Home-Start East Lindsey I see every day the impact that stress in families has on children and their parents.  I feel very fortunate to work with volunteers who give up thousands of hours each year showing such energy and dedication which help families increase their confidence and ability to cope, reduce their isolation and put some fun back into familiy life - and most importantly supporitng parents to give their children the best possible start in life. One parent recently said 'she helped us put our family back together'

It costs us £1400 to support a family for one year (compared to the £1500 a week it costs social services that is excellent value for money and far nicer for a family to support them before social care become involved).

£15 -  supports a family to attend Family Group

£26 - supports a family for approx one week

£50 - helps take a family on the annual Family Outing

£250 - sponsors a volunteer to visit a family for oen year

Please show your support and help me raise my Bail money to release me from Jail.  I am sure that there are many people who would pay to keep me there longer!!
