My story

This 52 year old 'trekker girl' had a DVT and a blood clot in the lung aged 26. My father died of a clot 11 years ago and that was when I was diagnosed with Factor V Leiden, a clotting disorder. So help me to help Lifeblood 'Stop the Clots' and save lives. Their education, research and information programmes may help save your life or that of someone close to you.

I see myself as living proof that you can manage a clotting disorder and live a full and active life So I am on a week long trek, walking over 100 kms through the Sahara Desert (camping amongst the dunes) in Morocco in November 2012, paying all the expenses myself so that every penny you donate goes directly to Lifeblood. Quite a challenge!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page. Donating is simple, fast and totally secure and they’ll send your money directly to Lifeblood and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. It’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
