WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE WILL BE "ADOPTING"
THE GREAT NORTH AIR AMBULANCE AS OUR CHOSEN CHARITY FOR 2010

As part of our Club of the Year programme of events, we are “adopting” the Great North Air Ambulance as our chosen charity for the year. This will involve several fun fundraising events for everyone to enjoy and raise money for a very worthwhile cause. In addition, we will be holding “coin collections” at games as well as match day fundraisers.

IAIN’S LOSING POUNDS TO RAISE ££££s !!
To start the ball rolling and to lead by example, Iain Lester has pledged to lose 3 stones (!!) in weight to raise funds for the Air Ambulance. By his own admission, Iain’s love of good food (ok … any food) is going to make this task all the more of a challenge so your support in terms of pledges will provide much need inspiration !

IAIN’S PLEDGE
My aim is to lose 3 stones in weight to raise money for the Total Soccer Centre 2010 Great North Air Ambulance Appeal. My starting weight will be recorded and held by our Club Secretary, Sarah Renwick on 16th January 2010 and pledges of payment will start from that date. The pledges are for the full weight loss of 3 stones and no money will be collected unless Iain reaches the 3 stone loss target – regular updates will be given on the website but hopefully you’ll see my jacket and track bottoms getting bigger !

A pledge form is attached, please pledge whatever you can to su

*** LATEST UPDATE ***

MONDAY 22nd FEBRUARY 2010

All going well into week six with a total of 18lbs lost.... that leaves just (!!) another 24lbs to go !

Still enjoying the food, my home made curry is far better than a takeway... just need someone to deliver it for me and the gym is still going well....

It's going to get tougher as the weeks go by so your support and encouragement is much appreciated.

A big thank you to so many people who have already pledged, the donations have been amazing.

The Total Soccer Centre is a football coaching centre for boys and girls based in Darlington, County Durham. Our Development Teams go under the name of TSC FC.

2009 was a momentous year for the Club as we were awarded the prestigeous Teesside Junior Football Alliance's highest honour as "Club of the Year".

We decided that we should mark the achievement by making a contribution of our own to a worthwhile cause and although there are many, many of such causes, we have chosen the North East Air Ambulance Service as our chosen charity to support.

We as a Club, know at first hand the value and importance of the North East Air Ambulance Service as they have been called to one of our games in the past to attend to an injury.

We would therfore ask you to help us reach our target donation to this much needed service by making donations via this page.

We will be holding a series of events over the next year in order to reach our target, all of which will be displayed on our page.

Thank you so much in advance for any donation, no matter how big, no matter how small..... every penny is appreciated and much needed !

Best Wishes,

Iain Lester

TSC FC Club Chairman
