In January 2010, Chris, Seema, and Rommy will be risking life and limb by traveling through Nepal and India on a motorized rickshaw as part of the Rickshaw Run. It will be the adventure of a lifetime, but in the end the thrill we'll get out of helping those in Nepal and India is a reward that you, our friends and family, can partake in.

Mercy Corps have been the official charity from inaugural Rickshaw Run back in 2006 through to 2010. Mercy Corps' assistance to India dates back to January 2001 when the agency responded to a devastating earthquake in Gujarat . Today, Mercy Corps is working in India to build community collaboration and fulfil dire health and economic needs. The Himalayan foothills around Darjeeling, India are home to some of the world's finest teas - and some of Asia's poorest families.
