The Twix® Tea Lady’s mission will cover hill, dale and the odd dual carriageway as she gets on her bike and cycles from to John O’Groats on a world record attempt to deliver everyone she meets a free Twix® and cuppa, raising money for Heart’s ‘Have a Heart’ and Red Dragon’s ‘Help a South Wales Child’.
Have a Heart is a newly launched charity that uses the power of radio to improve the lives of less advantaged people in local communities. In 2009/10 Have a Heart will focus on building a better future for the children living in our communities, those who are vulnerable, face adversity, are living with an illness or disability and are deprived of the childhood that every child deserves. Have a Heart will specialise in funding local grass roots projects, raising funds in your communities, through your local Heart radio station – making a difference together to make a better life for our children. Help a child has been running alongside Wale’s Hit Music Radio Station, Red Dragon for over 12 years.
