After last years disappointment at not being able to do the South Run, i've made up for it by signing up to do the Great North Run in Newcastle this year which is 13 miles, 3 miles longer!!!
I will be running again in aid of Epilepsy Research UK in memory of my brother Scott who sadly passed away in 2008. But also for everyone affected by this condition including my sister Carley who has been affected for many years but who has been seizure free for a couple of years now and she passed her driving test back in December which is a huge acheivement for her and i'm very proud!!!
Epilepsy is a common condition that affects approximately one in 200 people.
