Story
Thank you for visiting my justgiving page.
This is my first ever run of any kind so it's a big challenge for me, but I'm training for it! I wanted to run for The British Heart Foundation because Coronary heart disease is the UK’s single biggest killer and the British Heart Foundation are the UK's number one heart charity and through 50 years of funding cutting edge research they have already made a big difference to people's lives.
A year ago my best friend Bhadar Singh, 37 years old, suffered a minor heart attack in his sleep and failed to gain consciousness. Family and paramedics tried with all their efforts to resuscitate him and after stabilising him at home the family were told he did not make it to the hospital. He left behind his 5 year old daughter, 10 year old son, his wife - his soulmate, proud parents, siblings and extended family and friends.
Bhad had no history of heart problems and his death has left his family and friends devastated. To celebrate his life on the anniversary of his death, his family and friends are getting together to participate in the Blenheim Palace 10k and Family Fun Run. His friends and family want to come to together to raise awareness of heart disease and also raise funds so that the BHF can continue with their research.
