For the second year running, I will be running the Bath Half Marathon. So I'm not putting in alot of effort for nothing, I will be raising money for a charity called Bliss.

BLISS is a Special Care baby charity, providing vital support and care to premature and sick babies across the UK. They offer guidance and information at a critical time in families' lives. They also fund ground-breaking research and campaign for babies to receive the best possible level of care regardless of when and where they are born.

They campaign for better care for babies such as Nick, born 17th April this year. Nick was born 14 weeks prematurely, weighing just 4lbs 2 Oz.

Nick spent three weeks in the NICU at RUH, fighting for his life. He died on the 8th May 2009 with his family never having the opportunity to take him home.

 

This is something I care deeply about - please help to raise money so BLISS can carry on researching and supporting families in these sad situations
