Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I did the Brighton Marathon on 10 April in aid of St Giles Trust and made it round in 4 hours 5mins which is my best marathon time ever! To prove I'm not fibbing here is a link to the official results: http://brightonmarathon.co.uk/results.html (search for my name and my chip time should come up).
I was very pleased given a/ I injured my foot 10 days beforehand b/ it was 21 degrees and a very hot race and c/ I had to queue for the loo for yonks at mile six. I also had an out of body experience at mile 22 I was in so much pain (a thought which might please some of you!).
I'm ran in aid of St Giles Trust, a fantastic charity who help homeless people and ex-offenders get themselves back on track through practical support (look on the left for more details). Your support is needed more than ever now as like most charities they are feeling the effect of the cuts at a time when demand for their services - particularly those helping homeless people - is increasing by the day.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
