Having landed in this country over 20 years ago and from Argentina, my first experience of rowing felt something like being in a film set. Quite surreal. And, after just 3 training sessions I decided it was time to set up my sponsor page. It is a good cause and I need your support!!

Over the weekend of 22-23 September I will be joining the Lady Eleanor Holles and Hampton School rowing squads -proud mum alert, these are both my kids schools- along with a number of their parents, to row down the Thames from Radley near Oxford to the Millennium Boathouse in Hampton. I expect this to be a real challenge involving 120+ rowers covering 80 miles.

We're aiming to raise enough to pay for a care nurse for an entire year for our local charity Shooting Star Chase, which provides invaluable hospice care for babies and children with life-limited conditions.
