In memory of our dear friend Frida Zorzi who passed away unexpectedly on 18th August 2009, at the age of 26 due to the auto-immune illness, Lupus.  

 

Lina and I have decided to go all out and take on our biggest feat yet.  Between us, we plan to participate in:

- Run to the Beat Half Marathon (09/11) 

- Royal Parks Half Marathon (10/11)

- Amsterdam Half Marathon (10/11)

- Brighton Half Marathon (02/12)

- Silverstone Half Marathon (03/12)

- London Marathon (04/12)

 

Running is definitely not in our blood so this is an enormous challenge for both of us.  We have even resorted to getting up super early to squeeze in some running sessions before work and even subjected ourselves to doses of BMF (British Military Fitness) to get us into shape!

 

All proceeds raised will go towards Lupus UK.  Please help us in supporting Lupus UK, the only national charity supporting people with Lupus, so that we can try and raise awareness and help those who struggle with this life threatening disease.  No matter how large or small your sponsorship - every pound will go towards making a difference.
