This year I've decided to take on the exciting challenge of raising a ton of money for Make-A-Wish Foundation UK. Make-A-Wish is an incredible charity with the one sole aim of granting the wishes of children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions. A childhood free from illness is something a lot of us take for granted.  For those few that unfortunately can't experience the same, a wish is an incredible gift to receive. From walking with dinosaurs to being a princess for a day or meeting their favourite celebrity, these are just some of over 10,000 wishes that Make-A-Wish have granted since their conception in 1986.

Make-A-Wish rely however on donations to be able to do the amazing work that they do and put those smiles onto the faces of those that need them the most. Throughout this year so far I have baked numerous cakes, donned various silly outfits, travelled around the UK for bucket collections and hitchhiked all the way from Scarborough back to campus without spending a penny! With your support I have so far managed to raise a wonderful amount of money that will really make a difference, so thank you!

Once I reach my goal I will embark on a 6 day trek on the Salkantay route to Machu Picchu. With the trek reaching altitudes of 4650m it's bound to be another demanding but incredibly rewarding challenge and all for an amazing cause!
