When my son Christopher was born, his right hip and socket weren't formed due to him being a breech birth. He was placed in a harness from the age of 6 days old until the age of 1 year old. This meant regular trips to Nuffield Orthopeadic Children's Hospital, where the dedicated Physiotherapists and Nurses helped his hip and socket to grow in the correct shape.

Once out of the harness, Christopher had to still make regular trips to the hospital to help him  to walk with the aid of special shoes and at the age of 2, he took his first unaided steps.

Christopher had his final x-ray just last month, at the age of 3 and his hip and socket are now perfect! There is no difference between himself and any of the other children who run about with him.

This could have had a completely different ending, were it not for the dedicated, professional help from the staff at Nuffield Orthopeadic Children's Hospital.

I therefore wanted to show my appreciation for all that they've done for my son. Hence me asking if you would sponsor me to jump out of a plane! So, come on - dig deep. It's for such a worthwhile cause!
