Taplow Tadpoles' Tiny Toddle · 30 June 2010

We are unique and give children & adults with all types of disability, from the Thames Valley & far beyond, the opportunity to experience fun and freedom of adventure play in a stimulating and supportive environment. We create a special community for families & carers and provide vital respite days.

Story

UPDATE - Well, the Tadpole Team has toddled with great success, with medals and certificates to prove that the deed was done - and a fantastic £369 has already been banked.

A BIG thank you to everyone who took part, and to all those who contributed so generously - your support is greatly appreciated by us all!

Hello - my name's Will Share.  My uncle, Sid Downe, has been busy raising funds for Playground in his official capacity as the Playground's virtual Sponsored Walker, so I thought it would be good if I could do something to help.  Being the youngest member of the family (and therefore the most technical!) I am putting up this page on behalf of the Taplow Tadpoles' who are planning to do a Tiny Toddle on 30th June.  All in the name of fun, of course, but am really hoping that, with your support, as well as having a great time, we will be able to raise some money to help the Adventure Playground.

Last year it cost over £300,000 to keep the Playground going for all its users who have a special need, who, last year, made 13,652 visits.  This year less than 7% of the money the Playground needs to keep going will come from local authority funding - for all the rest it relies heavily on the support of the local community.  It would be fantastic to have your support.  If you would like to know more about the Playground, you can visit their website, www.tvap.co.uk.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So, if you can, please help by making a donation.

Thank you so much.
