What a great day! I did my fist ever half marathon in 2 hours and 9 minutes!! Came 7107th out of over 14000 runners :D under two hours next time for me then ;) xx

Running is a real challenge for me in time, commitment and energy, and so is working as a single parent to two gorgeous girls. However I know there are people, who's lives are worse off than mine, so I would like to run for Hammer Out Brain Tumour charity and raise as much money as I can to help those people.

Personally I would like to make my girls proud and prove to myself that I can committ and dedicate myself to these challenges and raise a decent amount of money too! If I can complete these particular races over the course of the next year, it will be a 'win win' situation for me and the charity and all those patients, families and carers that will benefit from the funds raised. I will begin to believe again, that nothing ventured, nothing gained...this I already know but its not always easy to practise what you preach.
