Dear Friend
I have lost toe nails, I have laughed, I have cried and my feet will never be the same - but here I am doing it for a 3rd time. 26.2 miles of exhaustion and perserverance is nothing compared to what others are suffering.
This year having already completed the LA and London Marathon I am now taking on the challenge of the New York in order to reach my target of £26,000 for charity.
I have already raised £21,001.31 but I’d love your support in achieving my target to make a difference to the people I am raising this money for. My two chosen charities are.
Loros The Leicestershire and Rutland Hospice is a specialist centre providing skilled nursing and medical care, supported by physiotherapists, occupational therapists and social workers, in an environment that recognises the particular needs of patients and their families. It provides expertise in controlling pain and other distressing symptoms as well as offering emotional, spiritual and social care, which allows patients to live as normal a life as possible. Working with the whole family enables both the patient and the family to cope with the changing situation so that they are able to make best use of the limited time together available to them.
Children with Leukaemia.
Helping children affected by Leukaemia. They fund research into the causes and treatments, support families through welfare programmes and campaign on their behalf
They receive no funding from the government, they rely entirely on donations from the public. they need our help to continue the fight against childhood leukaemia.
