I think the whole world got a shock when we lost Robin Williams last year. It certainly made me stop and think about a lot of things, especially about how we can be surrounded by people and still feel alone. 

This industry can at times feel difficult and lonely and I believe feeling connected to others is essential. I am running to build a sense of community and to honour the many wonderful and gifted performers who have battled with depression and anxiety. Let's work together to make this industry a supportive and encouraging one, to help others feel connected and to have fun!
