Team Samsung Sahara Trek · 31 October 2015

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

In October 2015 I will be trekking 100km with a few colleagues across the Sahara Desert to raise money with Samsung for the Princes Trust

The Princes Trust provide support for disadvantaged young people by giving them the opportunity to develop the skills and confidence they need to maximise their potential by completing educational and training programs with the ultimate aim of gaining employment and stabilising their lives.

My challenge entails trekking 100 km through the desert, camping in a tent with a distinct lack of luxury and potentially encountering lots of weird and not so wonderful creepy crawlies!

Any donations towards my fundraising target of £2300 are appreciated, this is a huge personal challenge for me in aid of a great cause and I appreciate all of your support!
