I hate the mud and the cold! Even I think I am crazy taking on a challenge like Tough Mudder. The clue should have been in the fact that the event is advertised as "probably the toughest event on the planet", but somehow it struck me as "fun".

Watched it? Good. Now you know what sort of man-made hell i'll be putting myself through! It still hasn't really sunk in that I've signed up to putting myself through that!

Until this year I had never really taken part in any challenges for charity that have actually tested my mental or physical limits. I've done the odd charity run but nothing that has actually overly challenged me like this will. 

The event is not far away now and I am far from what I would deem fit enough to partake. However, I'm going to throw caution to the wind, quit whinging (try to anyway), sign the death waiver and go for it. Not only will TM be a true test of my physical capability but also my true mental determination. 

I am honoured to be taking in TM with a mixed team from the Channel Islands. Although I haven't known some of them for very long (and think some of them are mental), I have the utmost faith in them as individuals and our ability to work together to pull through as a team.
